EXPOSED ARTS PROJECTS is a new charitable art organisation in Kensington, set up to exhibit, promote and support the research-led artistic and curatorial practices.

We occupy three spacious garages of Queen's Jaguar dealership (5 mins walk from High Street Kensington tube station) -  used for public art exhibitions and performances. In the offices above we run lectures, workshops, talks, screenings, and other artist-led events.

Our objective is to show that the visual experience of art can evoke both creative and critical capacities in a viewer. As explanations are revealed and connections are made alongside the actual artworks, by means of public exhibition, performance-based and hybrid formats, the new forms of understanding emerge – ones that are specific to the contemporary arts, and distinct from the traditional research-led disciplines. In this way the intellectual maturity of contemporary art practice is regarded as a powerful site for exploring important educational ideas and cultural agenda.
