Encounter Contemporary is a nomadic gallery initiating unexpected ‘encounters’ with cutting edge contemporary art practice. Founded in 2013 by Alexander Caspari and Jordan Harris, the gallery focuses on promoting a diverse and innovative group of emerging and established contemporary artists who are transforming the way art is made and presented.
Encounter runs an international pop up exhibition program and conceives exciting curatorial projects. We believe in the fundamental importance of supporting critical art practice and the broad benefits that this creativity inspires.
