The historic Grade II listed building of the Old Parsonage (Didsbury Parsonage) now owned by the Didsbury Parsonage Trust has 3 permanent art gallery spaces in use throughout the year. From 1919 when Fletcher Moss bequeathed the House and Gardens to the City of Manchester the Old Parsonage was known as the Fletcher Moss Museum and Art Gallery. Many residents have very fond memories of the permanently exhibited Turner paintings and various temporary exhibitions held in the building. One of the original aims of the Didsbury Parsonage Trust has been to keep the concept of art exhibitions alive in the Old Parsonage by encouraging local artists to exhibit their work in the community spaces.
