DE-CONSTRUKT [projekts] develops projects with local and international artists that support the cross pollination of ideas and experimentation among cultural diverse artists and audiences.

Artists have opportunity to produce new works individually or collaboratively, with a focus on experimentation. DE-CONSTRUKT [projekts] provides space to create temporary work and encourages the formation of new networks. Our interest is in the process rather than final outcomes. We serve to support new ideas and new ways of expression to share with the local community at large and abroad.

Consider renting our beautiful, large studio space with hard wood floors, lots of natural light, high-speed wifi, modern and spacious kitchen and off-street parking.

Rent our studio and support our programming. DE-CONSTRUKT [projekts] studio in Red Hook, Brooklyn is available for rent hourly (min. 4/hrs) or daily please email projekts@de-construkt for rates and availability.

We also have a private photography darkroom available at DE-CONSTRUKT. Fully equipped for B&W film processing and printing. Our custom-built enlarger bay is fitted to print negatives up to 4x5 inches and provide the tools necessary to process prints up to 11x14 inches. Our affordable hourly rates and monthly membership passes means you get as much time as you need to achieve the result you desire from your images.
