Christophe Guye Galerie is a contemporary art gallery representing national and international artists from different generations who consider the medium of photography within the larger context of contemporary art on a whole. First and foremost conceptual artists that chose to express their artistic vision through the use of the photography or film camera, or light sensitive materials, these young, emerging talents, mid-career and established artists notably contribute to the art historical discourse and the development within the photographic practice and contemporary art at large.

Founded by Christophe Guye in 2006 – former Scalo|Guye Gallery – in Los Angeles, the gallery is since summer 2010 located in Zurich/Switzerland. Organising between five and seven shows a year, the programme varies between solo- and group exhibitions including the works of the gallery’s as well as guest artists curated by the gallery or guest curators. In addition, the work of the gallery embraces the long term consulting of collections, the nurturing of new collectors, as well as curating and organising exhibitions in collaboration with institutions, museums, and partner galleries. The gallery participates in Paris Photo, Unseen, Amsterdam, Art14 London and Art Show Busan, South Korea. Moreover, the gallery offers limited edition art books from independent publishing houses such as Foil, Tokyo, Mörel Books and Nobody Publishing, London, as well as a handpicked selection of scarce out-of-print photography books from the Kunstkiosk Zurich
