Cassina Projects has been founded in New York in 2016 and it has since set off on a mission to develop a cross-generational and international program, fostering a dialogue between established figures with wide critical recognition, mid-career and emerging artists.

Through a multidisciplinary approach and collaborations with a network of institutions, critics, curators and art historians, Cassina Projects is devoted to engaging in the contemporary art discourse and playing a role in a broader conversation about the world and society at large.

After three years in Chelsea, NYC, in 2019 Cassina Projects relocated to Milan, taking over a 1250 sqm former aircraft factory built in 1920 and converting it into exhibition space. The new premises have been designed to include viewing rooms, storage, offices and CP Studio - an independent space dedicated to host a residency program for international artists -. In this original venue, where industrial archaeological architecture meets white cube style renovations, solo shows by gallery artists, curated exhibitions and site-specific projects rotate.

Tangible statements of the gallery vision are being made over the years through the organized exhibitions which aim at giving voice to relevant international profiles animating the contemporary debate. Shows featuring emerging positions at their debut in Italy alongside solo presentations of artists such as Gerold Miller, Marcel Eichner, Yves Scherer, Louisa Clement, Gert & Uwe Tobias, Georg Herold, Gustavo Nazareno, and ambitious curated group shows have granted Cassina Projects notable exposure and have set the ground to expand the programme and further intensify the activity.
