CampoBase is a space, based in Turin, for research and experimentation in the arts field. The project was initiated by the ten students of Campo18, the course in curatorial practices hosted by Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo.

In the contingency of playing the part of an “unintended collective”, the group decides to reflect upon the meanings, forms and structures of collective practices in a fickle and unstable context like ours. CampoBase will be active for the limited amount of time of one year, during which it will develop a program of activities that follows a double path, combining theoretical research and artistic experimentation.
