BoxHeart Gallery exhibits exceptional artwork by exciting and technically proficient emerging and mid-career artists. We curate art by talented local, regional, national, and international artists creating right now. All their artwork is 100% original. BoxHeart welcomes contemporary visual art in all media, including drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, and fine craft. In addition to providing our artists with exhibition space, we strive to offer a welcoming environment for community engagement, exploration, and enjoyment of contemporary art and exhibitions. Founded in 1998 and settling in our Bloomfield location in 2001, we also provide custom framing, art installation, and art consulting services.

BoxHeart inaugurated their expanded Pittsburgh space located at 4523 Liberty Avenue in January 2017. The gallery fosters continued dedication to the living artists it represents and maintains a robust program of exhibitions and events. The gallery represents several celebrated regional artists including; Seth Clark and Sylvester Damianos, as well as accomplished national and international artists including; Deirdre Murphy, Gavin Benjamin, Irina Koukhanova, and Nzuji DeMagalhaes. BoxHeart is a taste-maker within the 21st century art market and continues to expand its program by participating in art fairs worldwide.
