The Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana is one of the largest national libraries in Italy and one of the most important collections of Greek, Latin and Oriental manuscripts. In some of the splendid rooms there are always art exhibitions. It is located in Venice south of St. Mark's Square, between Campanile and Zecca.
