Bainbridge Print Studios

Lucy Bainbridge founded Bainbridge Print Studios in August 2008. 

The studio provides open access printmaking facilites for screenprint and intaglio, artist studios and desk spaces, and a varied programme of courses and workshops taught by professional artists and designers.

Our ethos is very much about facilitating a creative and supportive environment for those working within the parameters of contemporary art and textiles and whose practice is predominantly informed by print, traditional techniques as well more experimental approaches.

Our resident artists include textile designers, illustrators, graphic designers and fine artists and the range of techniques used include screenprint, etching, collagraph and cyanotype. We hold regular open studios and exhibitions which provides a strong framework for members and resident artists to share and present their work with each other and with the public. 

Further to this, we have developed a strong programme of courses and workshops that welcomes all abilities. Groups are kept small to allow ample work space, focused support from tutors and to ensure that everyone gets a full understanding of the processes involved. We guarantee you will leave inspired and fully equipped with the skills and knowledge to confidently take advantage of the open access facilities available at the studio.
