Arts Catalyst is a non-profit contemporary arts organisation that activates people to think differently about the world around them using art to explore social and environmental issues, provoke debate, and test out alternative ways of learning. We frequently work outside of traditional arts spaces, often within a particular landscape.
We partner with community and charity organisations from a spectrum of sectors to develop our projects, collaborating with artists, activists and people with different kinds of expertise, through a process of mutual learning and creative co-production.
Arts Catalyst is based at Soft Ground in Sheffield city centre. Soft Ground is a communual space for creativity shared by creative charity and not for profit organisations who advocate for social change through arts and community practices.
