AKA Fine Art is an art gallery based in Cambridge's CB1 district. Within walking distance to the railway station you will find a hidden architectural gem. The gallery exhibits modern and contemporary art in a series of curated shows. Our program is focused on displaying budding talent alongside established greats.
Over the years the gallery played host to a number of memorable exhibitions - Jeff Lowe's 'Echoes', Laurence Edwards and Adam Taylor's 'Elision', Charlotte Cornish's retrospective exhibition 'Landing' to name a few.
AKA Fine Art is a welcoming gallery in which both seasoned and aspiring collectors can immerse themselves in the world of fine art of paintings, prints and sculptures, spread across three unique gallery spaces on two floors.
A vast collection of original prints and paintings by legendary visionaries such as Paule Vézelay, John Hoyland and Jean (Hans) Arp against brilliant contemporaries like Adam Taylor,,Charlotte Cornish and Jeff Lowe are available for sale at the gallery and in our online store.
A visit to the gallery will be a perfect occasion to see up close the work of artists, beloved not only by the local community, but significant for a whole generation of print makers - available for viewing and for purchase are the prints of master print maker Kip Gresham, Ed Wilson along with limited edition prints by inspiring figures such as Clyde Hopkins, Albert Irvin, Sir Terry Frost.
Exhibitions are accompanied by a private view, artists talks, workshops and events.
Twice a year, the gallery organises Open Calls for Group exhibitions, which are turning into one of the most visited art events in Cambridge during Winter and Spring.
