Travel Information
Bus: the nearest stop is Town Hall (Clarence Street). You can reach us by bus from Cardiff, Newport, Abergavenny, Blackwood, Brynmawr, Blaenavon & Cwmbran with one or no changes. Train and bus times and changes can be found on Traveline Cymru
Train: the nearest train station is Pontypool & New Inn, which is about a 20-minute (through the park) walk from the gallery, there are buses to and from town about every 10 minutes. It takes about 30 minutes from Cardiff Central. you may have to change at Newport for some services. There is also a direct train from Newport.
76m2 is a fine art photo gallery started in February 2017 by the*kickplate*project. In 2017, 76m2 ran a programme of 9 exhibitions, and will run another 9 in 2018. The project is organised and managed by the*kickplate*project (Zosia Krasnowolska & Dafydd Williams) thanks to support from the Arts Council of Wales, Torfaen Council's Arts Development Department and Pontypool Town Council.
Apart from running the exhibitions, we also have a darkroom, which everyone is welcome to use free of charge.
Our gallery is wheelchair-accessible and all the exhibitions have audio descriptions available. We are also part of Torfaen Council's public toilet scheme and everyone is welcome to use our toilet with facilities for disabled users.
We are family-friendly and our visitors with young children needn't worry - we don't mind any noise or running around!
