17 Midland Road is the latest project of Barney Beech - partner at the design practice Burgess & Beech - and novelist Charlotte Philby. Downstairs, 17 Midland Road is an HQ for the design practice. It is also part-gallery part-space for culture, collaborations, new ideas and community.
Upstairs is a gallery and unique place to stay in one of Bristol’s most diverse and historic neighbourhoods. Long forgotten but constantly evolving, Old Market is home to independent shops, the LGBTQ village, cultural institutions and plenty of rebel energy.
