by Jody Zellen

A richly layered survey traces decades of work exploring identity, migration, and memory through photography, performance, and immersive installation.

Behold is a survey of works by Cuban-born, Nashville-based multimedia artist María Magdalena Campos-Pons. Spanning over thirty years, the exhibition features photographs, videos, paintings, sculptures, and installations that explore themes such as migration, motherhood, and memory. Campos-Pons interweaves allegory, personal narrative, and historical reference, creating visually striking works that draw on her unique compositional style and lived experience. Catch it before it closes on 4 May 2025.
