Red Redemption, a machinima film by the award-winning Vienna group Total Refusal, will be showcased at HAU4's digital stage on 24 January at 8pm. Set in Saint Denis, a city mirroring early 20th-century New Orleans, it portrays class struggles through NPCs in a video game setting. The film offers a Marxist analysis of capitalist dynamics, using humor and political acuity in the medium of video games.
