Edinburgh Arts Festival next month showcases a diverse array of exhibitions and events. Expect narrative wall art, bog-inspired installations, new commissions, and even vending machine art.

With Edinburgh Arts Festival set to open next month, Scotland's capital is gleaming with exhibitions & events at its numerous visual arts venues. The artists showing at Arusha Gallery and Ingleby Gallery weave stories into wall-based works. At Collective, Rabindranath X Bhose's installation is inspired by Highland bogs, and Tarek Lakhrissi's tongue-like sculptures explore language, love and power. There are three shows with newly commissioned works at Talbot Rice Gallery, and an unusual project at City Art Gallery dispenses artwork via a vending machine.
