So many exhibitions, so little time. To help you navigate Berlin's busy art scene, we've highlighted contemporary art exhibitions that left an impression on us.

Have a look at our suggestions of good things worth exploring:

Julian Rosefeldt. Manifesto at Hamburger Bahnhof

Why: The multi-screen film installation written and directed by Berlin-based Julian Rosefeldt is a haunting experience. Cate Blanchett recites 13 different historical artist manifestos documenting the struggle of the younger generation against of their predecessors. A must-see!

Fotini Gouseti. The Present as a Result of the Past at Grimmuseum

Why: It's your last chance to see Fotini Gouseti's compelling ongoing research-based project in which she studies the case of Kalavryta, a town with a unique charge in modern Greek history. In 1943, Kalavryta was destructed and its male population executed by the Wehrmacht. The traumatic event led to a complex situation in the town and created personal tensions as well as historical and ideological constructions that are still present today. Exhibition runs through 9 April, don't miss it!

Isa Gentzken. Make Yourself Pretty! at Martin-Gropius-Bau

Why: Because Isa Genzken is one of the most remarkable and radical artists of our time, and because this exhibition presents the broad spectrum of her work introducing you to her extraordinary mind and talent. Don't let her playful and brightly-coloured art fool you, it's anything but superficial. Make Yourself Pretty! opens to the public on 9 April 2016.
