How can painting change space and the perception of space?
About
It is colors in different aggregate states that Zora Kreuzer uses: Acrylic paint, wall paint and colored light - mainly in the form of fluorescent tubes. On site, she tests their effect on the wall and in the room. She experiments with the intensity, tonal values and nuances of individual hues, but also with the interaction of different colors and their arrangement. In the process, color often detaches itself from the surface and immaterializes itself as colored light in space.
For the interplay of light, color and space, Zora Kreuzer installs her canvas paintings, wall paintings and light works as an overall spatial position. These are extremely precisely placed interventions that create reciprocal relationships between the painting, the walls, and the space, completely changing the perception of the exhibition space.
