Join us for an evening of zine-making that sends a message of solidarity to refugees and raise money for the charity Freedom from Torture.

About

Artizine UK and Freedom from Torture North London Supporters Group are delighted to invite you to an evening of zine-making, as part of the City Entwined exhibition at Paradise Row art gallery.

In this workshop we will be providing a variety of stimulus from Freedom from Torture to inspire you to create a zine that sends a message of support and solidarity to refugees arriving in the UK, and for the work of Freedom from Torture. By the end of the workshop, you have the option to feature your creation in a temporary art installation at the Paradise Row City Entwined Exhibition that sends a message of welcome and solidarity to refugees worldwide from London.

There will be wine and music, so come along for an evening of creativity and a natter! All materials will be provided, though you are welcome to bring any specific materials you may wish to use.

There are two slots you can join for this workshop, each lasting approximately one and a half hours. Please select which slot you would like to join in the checkout. Tickets are limited, so grab yours as soon as you can to ensure you don’t miss out!

About Artizine:

Artizine UK is a not for profit initiative dedicated to encouraging individuals to be creative through engaging and accessible art-making workshops. Our workshops focus on cultivating a culture of meaning within groups of individuals and perpetuating ideas of collaboration over competition and collective care.
