G A L L E R Y 106 is delighted to announce solo exhibition of ZANI - Zaneta Gelevska Veljanoska, titled CLOSE UP: The World of Relaxed Spontaneity
ZANI is always experimenting and her paintings are a unique blend achieved by combining acrylic and mixed media with a range of unusual materials. These materials have become a distinguishing feature of Zani's work and in many cases; the materials dictate the form, as well as give the paintings their distinctive quality. Her paintings have a powerful strength and refreshing spontaneity with rich variations of colour and tone. Most of her inspiration is drawn from ordinary people and everyday experiences and events. The work is often based on the relationship between public and private space, memories of the past and visions of the future.
ZANI is based in London and exhibits regularly. Many of her works are in possession of private collectors, galleries in Paris and New York.
After her resent exhibition in New York, ZANI will be showing her most recent works to the UK public in Gallery 106 in London. This exhibition will consist of 28 artworks, made using acrylic on canvas and multimedia technique.
