About
Zach Bruder: Edening On
Zach Bruder's (b. 1984, Cleveland, OH) painterly figurative canvases employ iconographic imagery and expressionistic brushwork to explore themes including mythology, art history, and man's fraught relationship with nature. Bruder’s work reflects his immediate and playful approach to image-making—paint is applied in a loose style that borrows equally from modernism and illustration.
Ebecho Muslimova: 2017
Ebecho Muslimova (b. 1984, Dagestan, Russia) continues the legacy of satirical artists from Honoré Daumier and George Grosz to Peter Saul and Raymond Pettibon with her darkly humorous ink-on-paper works. She is known for her alter ego “Fatebe” who she regularly depicts in ribald, often anxiety-ridden situations.
