Surrealism Now will bring together 107th artists from 48th countries in a single space. 

The PO.RO.S Museum in the village of Condeixa a Nova in Portugal will open its doors on September 17, 2017 to the largest current contemporary surrealist art show.

The whole scenario of the exhibition accents in an environment of the legacy Roman Empire. 
In contemplating these numerous pieces of art from Surrealism Now you can admire countless attractions of the region such as the ruins of Conimbriga and its museum, vestiges of the Napoleonic wars, palaces and castles of the medieval to the classic. All periods from prehistory to the twentieth century as well as the delicious gastronomy coming from all this historical heritage. The Multimedia Museum PO.RO.S presents a great set of means where you can see how life was like in the cities and Roman villages of the region about 2000 years ago.

The dreams and creativity brought from about 107th artists by Surrealism Now will tend to imply how the human mind develops from prehistoric times to actuality.

International Surrealism Now began in Coimbra in 2010, where a first major exhibition took place, organized by the Bissaya Barreto Foundation and conceived by Santiago Ribeiro and since then never stopped: Conimbriga Museum, Paris, Madrid, Berlin, Lisbon, to Dallas, Los Angeles and Mississippi were places of example.

Surrealism now is the union of visionary, surrealist, abstract, fantastic realism art movements. The exhibition is composed of works of drawing, painting, photography, sculpture and digital art.
