Visitors will be able to select their own choice of works from the collection of single-screen videos to watch. The following artists will be included: Marc Aschenbrenner, Sarah Baker, Klaus vom Bruch, Yvon Chabrowski, Claude Closky, Jonas Englert, Frank Hesse, Katya Isaeva, Sven Johne, Manuela Kasemir, Nahla Küsel, Christian Marclay, Bjørn Melhus, Peter Miller, Tracey Moffatt, Lada Nakonechna, Stefan Panhans, Vandy Rattana, Florian Slotawa, Sebastian Stumpf, Donata Wenders.

In addition two early four-channel video works and photographs by Julian Rosefeldt will be installed. And of course, many older and newer works from the collection, including works by Norbert Bisky, Victor Bonato, Marcel Buehler, Denmark, Walter Dexel, Christian Frosch, Wilfried Hagebölling, Heijo Hangen, Jenny Holzer, Ottmar Hörl, Martin Kippenberger, Siegfried Kreitner, Camill Leberer, Via Lewandowsky, Richard Paul Lohse, Adolf Luther, Enzo Maiolino, Paul Mansouroff, Mathieu Mercier, Lienhard von Monkiewitsch, Jan van Munster, Maurizio Nannucci, Julio le Parc, Hans Richter, Karin Sander, Sándor Szombati, Anton Stankowski, Renata Stih und Frieder Schnock, Luke Willis Thompson, Timm Ulrichs, Peter Vogel, Donata Wenders, Wim Wenders will be on view as well.

Ivo Wessel (born in Paderborn in 1965) studied computer science in Braunschweig and moved to Berlin in 2000 because of the young and vital art world the city had to offer. He is a software developer and has programmed apps for the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Alexa-Skills for Amazon’s Echo devices, especially for artists and art institutions. He has been collecting contemporary art and literature ever since his high school years, always trying to combine his three obsessions art, books, and computers. Over ten years ago, he began Videoart at Midnight with gallerist Olaf Stüber, a project that shows video art on the big screen at Kino Babylon: once a month on a Friday, always at midnight. His collection includes concrete painting, photography, conceptual art, media and video art.
