'You Can't Lockdown Nature!' is a free online exhibition on the Atkins Gallery webiste www.atkinsbuilding.co.uk

The ongoing impact of COVID-19 and the Lockdown measures has made us re-evaluate our relationships with our outdoor spaces. Our green spaces and parks offered us a break from our homes and allowed for safe socialising in the warmer weather.

We want to see what role nature and more time outside has played for you over the last year during the pandemic?
You could capture the scenes from your daily exercise or have you taken more note of the seasonal changes than before? Did you spend more time in your garden? Have you had a new or renewed interest in plants and gardening? Did you make any new memories hosting a safe back garden social or a picnic in the park? Did you observe any wildlife activity you hadn’t seen before? Explored and discovered anything new in your local area?

This exhibition is free to enter and free to view online from the 12/04/2021.

You Can’t Lockdown Nature is Free to enter with each artist entering up to three pieces so whether you have been drawing, painting, sewing, sculpting or photographing we want to see your response to our year outside!

Submission is from 15/03/2021 to 06/04/2021 and the exhibition will go live on Atkins Building website on 12/04/2021
