About

Doors Showcase is please to present You Blow Me Away..., a group show by guest curator Silia Ka Tung.

Doors Showcase has invited three London-based artists to participate in this site-specific exhibition, utilizing its intimate and quirky space in seducing the viewers with more than a visual feast, with its juxtaposition of glass, sand, toys, fur, wax and…'human flesh'.

A collaboration between Andrea Hasler, Patrick Furness and Adeline de Monseignat, this exhibition is showcasing an array of elaborate, explosive and cracking presentations, contrasting the aesthetic and the harmonious with horrors.

You Blow Me Away... will reveal the delicate and the sensual in animal and human anatomy, albeit in a subversive way. Materials that creep out, emerging from the gallery floor, will catch one's imagination at every turn. Presented in a polished language, accompanied by a captivating interactive sound installation that inhabits the shop window, offering a top-down perspective on the gallery's interiority.

Witness the unpredictability in this sensational show. The evocative sets and sounds will delight the viewer, long after the final curtains fall!
