About
Vivid storytelling inspired by fables, mythology, existentialist
fiction and philosophy dominates. Set against a backdrop of
contrasting dystopian cities, urban flux, classical architecture
and organic structures, the characters portrayed all share a
similar passion to harness their own destiny whilst
succumbing to tragic fates, a testament to their humanity.
We are invited to partake as protagonists and navigate the
labyrinthine layers of each painting, where primitive
symbolism and numerology blend to find meaning and bridge
communication gaps.
By creating our own subliminal
narrative and defamiliarizing ourselves, we destroy and
recreate connections, thus moving a step away from the
hyperrational systems that dominate our daily lives, allowing
space for contemplation, reinterpretation and self discovery.
