X is a collaborative exhibition which takes a fascinating look at promising emerging fresh talent based in Plymouth. The collective is made up of 9 third year Fine Art Photography students studying at Plymouth College of Art working in collaboration in the creation of X.

The body of work being presented explores and represents a broad range of contemporary issues surrounding isolation; neurodiversity; bereavement and therapeutic art; environmental threats and the pandemic’s impact on marine life; and also celebrates de-industrialization in Sunderland; identity and self-representation; challenging of accepted norms; the phenomenological affect of visual art - and photography as a means to convey stories and invite shared experience of another person’s world.
