This exhibition celebrates the achievements of the MA Fine programme of Bath School of Art and Design at Bath Spa University. WWOOMAFAABSU features a range of work by artists who graduated from MA Fine Art between 2005 and 2014 who have subsequently established successful careers.
About
MA Fine Art at Bath School of Art and Design is a studio based programme designed to develop students’ individual creative potential in a critically challenging environment. The programme focuses on student’s own emerging practice and how it is situated in the world of contemporary art practice and the critical and changing world debates that surround artists’ practices today.
The exhibition celebrates both these artists who were once on MA Fine Art and the programme itself which has benefitted over the years from the engagement of dedicated staff with national and international profiles as artists.
For these staff, it has been very rewarding to see the abilities of students realized in a body of stimulating, professional work during the programme but also to see their practices flourish after they leave
