WunderKamera + Corrosive – mystère photographique au château

Le château de Dampierre est très fier de pouvoir annoncer sa prochaine exposition consacrée à la photographie contemporaine qui se déroulera du 28 septembre au 11 novembre autour des œuvres des artistes londoniens Sanges et Arepo.

En parfaite résonnance avec l’âme du lieu et l’ésotérisme de sa galerie Renaissance, l’univers poétique et onirique des travaux que Sanges et Arepo prolongera le mystère alchimique qui fait la célébrité du château depuis les travaux de Fulcanelli. Evoquant la poésie d’Edgar Allan Poe, le symbolisme gothique de la fin du 19e siècle, les manipulations de la matière des alchimistes ou le cinéma de Murnau, Sanges et Arepo ajouteront au mystère qui dès l’automne saisit Dampierre, du haut de ses tours aux profondeurs de sa forêt cerclée d’eau.

The Château of Dampierre is very happy and proud to announce the upcoming show of works by London based artists Sanges and Arepo taking place in its exhibition gallery the next fall (September, 28 – November, 11).

Echoing the soul of the place and the esoterica of its Renaissance Gallery, the poetry and dreamlike wolrd of Sanges and Arepo’s photographs will extend the mystery of Alchemy that is the very magic of the place since Fulcanelli’s writing.  Evoking the poems of Edgar Allan Poe, the symbolism of late 19th century gothic revival, alchemical experiments of material alterations and Murnau’s cinema, Sanges and Arepo will add their own mysteries to the magic of Dampierre when fall comes, from the highest tower to the deep of the forest all by water surrounded…
