The Poo Collective is a group of recent graduates working to put on interactive exhibitions. They stand to abolish the prestige that the art world holds and to take no authority over their audience.
Don't let the work speak for you... Ask questions! Be inspired, inquisitive and stop the art from taking your voice!
"Wrong Food", curated by The Poo Collective, is an exhibition exploring the boundaries of the indigestible predicaments food might sometimes find itself in. How it can be illusive in its production, brash in its intention, wholly offensive in its history and its taste. Inspired by a tinned roast chicken, this show represents all that is wrong with some food products, historically and to the present date. Using the title, each artist has made new work that corresponds with how they view 'wrong food'. Utilising a multitude of mediums, the group want to create a show that is enjoyable for their audience whilst keeping in mind how to coincide with The Poo Collective's principles.
Featuring live music on the opening night, the show is all about getting involved and feeling comfortable around the work. To brush off any silent or confused appreciation and be on a level of understanding within a creative environment. Lets create some food for thought!
