“At the start of any writing process I remind myself that if I want to write something brilliant I have to first be open to the possibility (if not certainty) of writing something terrible. So let’s all be terrible together and write at least 10 pieces of something each in 90 minutes.”

In two weeks, we will welcome artist Debris Stevenson for a writing workshop. Debris embeds healing and wellbeing into her writing practice and in her words, being a good artist is being a healthy person - this is to say that a sense of wellbeing and contentment allows us to work well, with energy and creativity. In Write Now!, Debris will share her own methodologies for everyone to try - so no previous experience is necessary. Come and play with words!
