Sadie Coles HQ and A-Z West invite you to take part in an evening exploring the healing properties of crystals and learn about Oracle Card reading in a two-hour workshop led by Jenna Kitchingham. Guests will receive a free crystal to take home, as well as 20% off works presented by A-Z West in The Shop.
The Crystal Workshop is designed for those who are both new to crystal healing, as well as more seasoned practitioners. During an hour-long workshop, experienced healers Jenna and Rob will explore and discuss the healing properties associated with the specific crystals in the A-Z West and High Desert Test Sites pop-up. Through the aid of meditation, Jenna will guide participants towards accessing the healing elements of their chosen crystal and re-connecting with the centre of the earth and Mother Nature – where crystals are formed. The meditative journey will be accompanied by the live playing of crystal singing bowls. The varying tones the crystal bowls carry can impact us in specific spiritual and physical ways, activating different chakras and organ systems.
Following this, The Oracle Card Workshop will be carried out over the course of an hour. Oracle Cards are used as a source of inspiration and as a psychic tool to help channel messages and observe readings. Jenna and Rob work with ‘Crystal Angel’ Oracle cards which serve purposes as both a method for divination and as a teaching tool about crystals. They will also teach a guidance method that participants can perform at home.

About A-ZWest and High Desert Test Sites
A-Z West is an artwork by Andrea Zittel located on almost 80 acres in the California high desert near Joshua Tree National Park. Since its inception in 2000, A-Z West has functioned as an evolving testing grounds for living and artistic discovery – a place in which spaces, objects, and acts of living all intertwine as a single ongoing investigation into social norms, values, and what it means to live and participate in culture today. A-Z West Works are made in the A-Z West studio where all income generated is used to fund the residency programmes and general sustainability of A-Z West; as well as generating income for local artists in the High Desert; where employment and means of financial support are limited.
High Desert Test Sites is an arts non-profit co-founded by Zittel, which involves the wider community in the high desert region and promotes experimental exchanges between artists and general audiences. Profits from the sales from the gems and minerals, sourced by HDTS from Quartzsite in Arizona, will go towards the running of the organisation’s programme.
