Join Los Angeles based artist, Audrey Chan, as you explore the things and people in your home. Each family will choose meaningful objects from their home to inspire a symbolic story drawing.

Have you told your story? Where is it set? Who are the important characters? Discover your inner storytelling voice to show your true self, with artist Sultan Sharrief and Najla Sharrief, as they lead families through a series of exercises to help build your story.

Sultan Sharrief is a trans-media activist, filmmaker, educator and social entrepreneur. His interest lies at the intersection of art, business, and community impact. His directorial debut Bilal's Stand premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and he has produced four other feature films.

Najla Sharrief is an early-childhood education professional and dually certified Life Coach. She has a degree in Psychology from Georgia State, with a minor in Education. Over the past 20 years, Najla has been an elementary -school teacher in Compton CA, a family rehabilitation therapist, and has worked in service to multiple non-profits in the areas of youth empowerment & personal development. She now specializes in working with people of all age-groups to help them discover, or "illuminate", the lighthouse which is their soul. As a Life Coach, Najla delights in being of service to others in such a way that they are "led" to love being in service to their highest selves.

Sultan Sharrief es un activista trans-medios, cineasta, educador y emprendedor social. Su interés radica en la intersección del arte, los negocios y el impacto de la comunidad. Su debut como director Bilal's Stand se estrenó en el Festival de Cine de Sundance y ha producido otros cuatro largometrajes.

Najla Sharrief es una profesional de la educación en la primera infancia y doblemente certificada como entrenadora de vida. Es licenciada en Psicología por el estado de Georgia, con una licenciatura en Educación. Durante los últimos 20 años, Najla ha sido una maestra de escuela primaria en Compton CA, una terapeuta de rehabilitación familiar, y ha trabajado en el servicio de múltiples organizaciones sin fines de lucro en las áreas de empoderamiento juvenil y desarrollo personal. Ahora se especializa en trabajar con personas de todos los grupos de edad para ayudarles a descubrir, o "iluminar", el faro que es su alma. Como entrenadora de vida, Najla se deleita en ser de servicio a los demás de tal manera que son "conducidos" a amar estar al servicio de su ser más alto.
