Works on Paper: an exhibition featuring a selection of extremely talented artists from across the world including representation from Australia, Israel, Norway, Slovenia and Spain, as well as local artists from the UK, some of whom are exhibiting in London for the first time. Each artist has a unique style but they all share the interest to discover the original and innovative opportunities that can be unveiled through paper. Being passionate about the texture, vitality and familiarity offered by this medium, artists explore a wide range of techniques, presenting from drawings and watercolours to prints and posters. They reinvent modern and classic traditions, inviting us to uncover a different artistic experience.

Drawing inspiration from Impressionist masters, Ann Dunbar creates magical artworks capturing the play between light and shadow. Her depictions combine her impressionist influence with her great attention to the natural environment, allowing several shapes, colours and reflections to rise through every brush stroke. Also passionate about the changing patterns of light, Veronica Robilliard focuses in exploring these configurations in the human form. Through her works she pushes the boundaries and is constantly looking with fresh vigor at leaving out the unnecessary distractions of detail. Her style encourages the viewer to fill in the details, creating a sense of intimacy and engagement. Pulling the audience in is also one of Angelica’s works main characteristics. Through her otherworldly creatures, usually in a lyrical background, Angelica seeks the dark emotions and exorcises them on paper in black and white inks. She asks you to dive within, explore the beauty of a world that could be and the world that is.

We would like to warmly invite you to join us for the opening night of WORKS ON PAPER on Wednesday 13th May 6pm – 8.30pm where you will have the opportunity to meet our talented artists.
