PayneShurvell presents a collection of Works on Paper by Gary Colclough, Anka Dabrowska and Mary Yacoob. The show will be held in a temporary space in North London.
About
Gary Colclough manipulates his own landscape images by breaking photographic sources down into their component colours. Monochromatic and elaborate his drawings echo the desire to escape to a nature edited by man.
Anka Dabrowska makes drawings on paper that she customises with geographical details of her native Warsaw or translates drawings into three dimensional structures that suggest claustrophobic spaces referencing Eastern
European architecture.
Mary Yacoob's work uses drawing and visual languages to filter observations of everyday life through systemic techniques such as repetition, geometry, and extrapolation.
Kindly supported by Collective: a project run by Camden Town Unlimited, funded by Camden Council and the Mayor's Regeneration Fund.
