ORDINARY-LIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY TO SHOW RARE VINTAGE CYANOTYPE PHOTOGRAPHS OF LONDON EXTERIORS FROM THE 1890s AT WORKS ON PAPER ART FAIR
ORDINARY-LIGHT Photography, an Islington based private photography dealer, will show vintage photographic images from London's engineering firm of The Hayward Brothers, who held the patent for semi-prismatic pavement lights. The company specialized in street lighting, staircases, and ventilators. Some of the views presented in the commercial exhibit at the Works on Paper Art Fair include topographic views of East London and a captivating image of a Baker Street Boy's Home circa 1892. The collection is thought to be one of a kind as the images came from a recently discovered disbound ledger from the firm itself. Prices range between £350 and £1,700 for the larger views.
These and other general views of London from Teddy Boys at Wembley Stadium to vintage photographs of the Rolling Stones will be found at the section CLASSIC PHOTO Stand no. P3 of the Art Fair.
