Works - A lecture by Architect Simon Dance of Borgos DAnce

About

‘The interior was stripped back to almost nothing before being rebuilt, and while its apparent simplicity at first suggests a kind of ‘honesty to materials’ reconstruction, closer inspection tells another story’ Architecture Today, November 2006. This is a unique opportunity to hear the story of Simon Dance, Co-Founder of Borgos Dance and Chief Architect of The Louise T Blouin Institute as he discusses the transformation of the 1920’s former coachworks into a combination of exhibition spaces and offices housing the Foundation’s London Headquarters. The Louise T. Blouin Institute opened in October 2006 and is Borgos Dance’s first public project in the UK. The architects transformed this former coachworks into a combination of exhibition spaces as well as offices housing the Foundation’s London headquarters.
