All-ages art picnic at Heathbrook Park, London – part of WAF2018. Make a giant textile artwork, build an overground tunnel extension to the northern line and create collaborative installations in response to the tubular cityscape.
About
Three installations and a picnic on Tooting Common for people of all ages.
Words of Wisdom, a huge textile artwork made by 30 older people on which they share their wise words will be on display at Heathbrook Park during WildCity's second big art picnic. Come and share your own wise words to make a second all-ages artwork. All materials provided. Create a giant, interactive, tunnelling installation, a unique extension of the Northern Line, an underground cityscape created over ground on the grass of Heathbrook Park. You can also collaborate, interact and explore new creative ideas with contemporary artists from Agora Arts Circle who will create new, participatory art works in response to the tunnelling installation.
Bring a picnic, family and friends and enjoy creating together in the great outdoors.
This event is organised as part of Wandsworth Arts Fringe 2018.
