Meet artists and discover their work in 83 creative spaces across Worcestershire this August bank holiday (23-26 August).
Visitors to Worcestershire Open Studios will have the opportunity to delve into unseen creative spaces, talk directly to artists about their inspiration, techniques and materials, as well as a chance to purchase original art and craft made by over 180 Worcestershire artists.
Alongside painting and drawing, art forms including ceramics, glass fusing, handloom weaving, illuminated calligraphy, printmaking on vintage machinery and green wood working will all feature. With work in contemporary and traditional styles, there’s something to suit every taste.
Some artists are offering refreshments, demonstrations and even the opportunity have a go at making some art yourself. And if you visit five or more studios you can be in with a chance to win £100 to spend on some artwork.
Entry to all venues is free, so why not go on a creativity-packed adventure? It’s the perfect way to spend a bank holiday weekend.
