Discover fantastic art and crafts created in Worcestershire this August bank holiday weekend, when artists, craftspeople and arts organisations open their studios, homes and shared spaces for three days at 81 different locations across the county!
About
Now in its fourth year, the Worcestershire Open Studios event offers an exclusive opportunity to peek behind the scenes to explore otherwise unseen creative spaces and chat directly to artists and craftspeople about their inspiration and creative processes. You’ll find unique artwork, fascinating techniques and unusual materials!
A diverse collection of original arts and crafts made by over 170 Worcestershire artists will be on display and available to see and buy – from drawing, painting, printmaking, photography and glassmaking to ceramics, jewellery, textiles and mixed media. There’s sure to be something to suit every taste, from 2D to 3D and contemporary to traditional styles.
As well as introducing you to their creative habitats, some artists are also offering a chance to try out their crafts, with demonstrations and have a go sessions. It’s the best way to spend a bank holiday weekend! Whether you’re an art collector, an emerging artist or have never set foot inside an art gallery, you’ll receive a warm welcome at all of our venues. Remember that entry to all venues is FREE so why not go on a self-guided art tour across the county, uncovering parts of Worcestershire you’ve never seen before!
