Bartosz Frączek is a Polish artist based in Częstochowa, Poland. This is his first exhibition in UK.
About
Bartosz Fraczek (b.1974) is a graduate of J Dlugosz Academy of Fine Art in Czestochowa, Poland. Later, he gained PhD in Fine Arts from the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts under Prof. W Myszkowski.
He was awarded four times a scholarship in Arts by Voivodship of Czestochowa and is currently a lecturer in J Dlugosz Art Academy in Czestochowa.
Fraczek had over 70 individual exhibitions in Poland and abroad. He was the initiator and organizer of the International Biennale of Miniature Art in Czestochowa, Poland.
His exhibition at POSK Gallery ‘Women in Colour’ explores the subject of female portraits, contrasting their ordinary surroundings with vibrant, strong palette of colours and graphic composition.
This is his first exhibition in UK. The artist will be present at Private View in POSK Gallery, 17 November, flying in for two days from his solo show in Istanbul.
