Clonakilty Community Arts Centre in West Cork, Ireland is excited to announce that they will be hosting Wish You Were Here: a postcard art exhibition, exchange, public sale & reception.
About
Artists working in all disciplines and backgrounds from around the world are eligible to participate in this non-juried exhibition.
Interested artists are invited to submit 5 original 4” x 6” (10.5cm x 14.8cm postcard size) artworks in any medium.
Clonakilty Community Arts Centre will retain 1 postcard from each submission for sale, and each artist will subsequently receive 4 postcards from randomly selected artists from Wish You Were Here in return by mail. Each card may or may not include a personal message for the unknown artist-recipient.
A free opening reception and sale will take place on Friday, December 2nd, 2016 from 7 to 9pm at CCAC's gallery space.
Each submission of 5 artworks costs €10. All proceeds go towards the running of this community-based, volunteer-run arts organisation.
Submissions can be made by mailing 5 postcards in an envelope with a €10 note to:
