Abstract and street photographer Olga Karlovac will be holding a captivating exhibition and artist's talk at ECAD Gallery. In conversation with guest speaker Michael Barnett, editor of magazine F22/STATE, Olga will be discussing the publication of her photobook Before Winter.
About
An emerging talent from Zagreb, Olga Karlovac's unique style of urban photography features reflections and images taken through windows, many on rainy days. She primarily takes photographs in motion, preferring to use hand movement with slow shutter speeds, resulting in the detached shapes that verge on abstract expressionism.
Her monochromatic images depict a fascinating dreamworld and a melancholic but enchanting narrative. They are dark and rich with emotion, each with a story to tell. Her photobook, Before Winter, and its accompanying signed, limited-edition print, is selling fast worldwide
