About
Create sculptural Wings to wow your walls using recycled materials. You will be provided with a wooden base, which you will be able to cover in a decoupage style - using recycled papers, magazine images, scraps of fabric, gold leaf and other decorative techniques.
Participants will then experiment with found and discarded objects, disassembling, customising and creating new pieces to add to the sculpture. These can be added to the wings by stitching, drilling and investigating the different types of glues needed for the particular properties of the objects.
All materials will be provided, and you are also welcome to bring along any other collected treasures to personalise it your very own way.
