About
‘Nobody’ is the third in a special series of five exhibitions at Bernard Jacobson Gallery, scheduled to take place during 2018 to celebrate the 80th birthday of acclaimed British artist William Tillyer. The exhibition features watercolours by Tillyer inspired by Homer’s descriptions of the sea – ‘the bodiless or unbounded thing’ - resulting in semi- abstract, lyrical and romantic works. ‘Nobody’ was created in collaboration with contemporary British poet Alice Oswald. Both a book and an exhibition of luminous watercolours, ‘Nobody’ is a unique crossover work.
