Well known for his figurative work, which expresses the power and determination of human endeavour, Ian Edwards is also well known for his keenly observed, wildlife pieces. We are delighted to bring new work alongside popular favourites to the public's attention.

About

Edwards often uses the peace and solitude of countryside walks as pause for breath from his busy practice and the intensity of the themes that run throughout his work. Time to stop and observe a kingfisher sitting on a reed by the riverbank, or an otter swimming in the canal are vital to Edwards’ peace of mind and his sense of balance within a crazy, manic world.
