Opening just days after the winners are announced at the Natural History Museum London, this exhibition will showcase the winning competition entries with some of the best of wildlife photography in the world this year.
You will be immersed in the diversity of the natural world, explore some of the world richest habitats, spectacular species and see fascinating animal behaviour.
You will discover the surprising and sometimes challenging stories behind the images and be inspired to help protect the amazing planet we live on.
In its 57th year, Banbury Museum & Gallery will be hosting this exhibition at the start of its international tour and includes 100 images from the main exhibition, on loan from the Natural History Museum, London.
‘Wildlife Photographer of the Year is the most prestigious photography event of its kind, providing a global platform that showcases the natural world’s most astonishing and challenging sights for over 50 years. Every year it receives over 49,000 entries from all over the world, highlighting its enduring appeal. At the end of its international tour, the award-winning images will be seen by over a million people.’
