Each winter the THG hosts an Open Exhibition that appeals for entries from everyone -amateurs, professionals young, old, residents and outsiders.
About
Previous Open's have posed themes inviting broad responses about the 'changing' face of Ipswich, 'impressions' of the Town and its 'people'.
This year The Town Hall Galleries looks at the Wild side of Ipswich. The crazy characters that lurk around the streets or the random animals you see every day either living or adorning our built manmade surroundings. Interpretations are welcome in all media; traditional approaches to the natural form such as drawing, painting, sculpture and printmaking, as well as more contemporary, experimental or interactive methods including graphic design, new media and performance.
