"WHY MUST ONE CUT HIS WINGS, IN ORDER TO FLY?"Is the name of the solo opening exhibition of my new Studio Gallery. The exhibition will consist of my latest series of works, and a brand new live performance.
About
The inspiration for "Disengagement" appeared in the form of fading pixels.
A contemporary portrait of the ultimate memory of my family, that has been engraved though video calls. This became my personal visual inspiration and reflects the depredating communication. The pixels represent isolation and disconnection that has expanded in the contemporary world, even though we have all options, and all opportunities to manage closer, more intimate and true relationships between us. However when the desire to communicate does not exist, no matter how many options available.”
